Dear Parents

Thank you once again for a wonderful term and your positive involvement in the school.We would also like to thank

the learners who excelled and kept the name of our school high on all levels. We hope you have a splendid holiday with your children.

We would like to bring the following to your attention.

1. IMPORTANT DATES

Fri 27 Jun	Reports to parents
	SCHOOL CLOSES 10:30 – learners must wear school uniform

Reports will be sent home with learners on Fri 27 June.

PARENTS’ EVENINGS: 2ND WEEK OF NEXT TERM:

- Letters will be handed to learners during the 1st week.

MOSSEL BAY TOUR: WED 16 – SUN 20 JULY

Hockey and Nettball players will depart on Wednesday.

Rugby players will depart on Friday.

2. SCHOOL FEES: Gr 1 - 7 R4000 per CHILD per ANNUM

School fees may be paid electronically. Proof of payment must be sent to the financial secretaries. If you pay via internet,

you must, please give a reference number as well.

3. SCHOOL WEAR / SPORTSWEAR (Enquiries: secretariess 981-1882).

Every Wednesday evening: 17:00 – 18:00

Sales: Mon & Wed 13:30 – 15:00

Learners will be given the opportunity to buy the correct sportswear for KDA until the end of the

second term, provided that the clothing bank has adequate stock.

** 1st week (3^rd term): The shop will be open on Tue 15 July and not on Wed 16 July. As from the

second week, we shall return again to above-mentioned days and times.

4. STAFF NEWS

Birthdays: Mr D Labuschagne (Sun 29 Jun), Mrs A Mulder (Sat 5 Jul), MrsM Fourie (Tue15 Jul) and Miss S van Zyl (Wed 16 Jul).

Congratulations. May you have a wonderful and prosperous year.

It is with regret that we have to say good-bye to Mrs A Mulder. Her husband has accepted a post in

the United Arabian Emirates. We wish her everything of the best.

Mrs C van Schalkwyk will take her place for the rest of the year.

5. GENERAL

ENROLLMENT FOR GR 1 (2009): Application forms are available at the secretaries.

PTA DANCE: Christo & Cobus will be performing on 15 August 2008, in the Kraaifontein Civic Centre.

R75 per person – snacks on tables. Tickets are available at the school.

Olimpiad for Gr 1, 2, & 3 learners will take place at the beginning of August.
